ABOUT US

MDX is the ministry that operates from within Manurewa Baptist's NITEchurch congregation. The focus of MDX is people aged 11 years old to those well on their way to maturity! We exist to encourage each other as fully committed follows of Jesus, calling others to follow him too.

MDX aims to bring young people together with the purpose of experiencing life as God intends for it to be. We seek to do this in several ways.

CONNECT
MDX runs various events and camps throughout the year. Check out the notices on the right for those that are coming up. It is our hope that these times can be full of fun, friendship and fellowship (which emphasis's the emotional and spiritual needs of all people). Different events and camps are aimed at different ages and stages so be sure to find out what things are most suited to you.

SERVE
MDX strives to serve our city and beyond. As a church in Manurewa we feel a particular responsibility to contribute in a positive way to our local area. The RAK Attack is just one way that we seek to achieve this. RAK is a monthly Random Act of Kindness which include things like mowing lawns, picking up rubbish, painting out graffiti, free car washes, giving blood and more.

In everything we do as a ministry it is our hope that we are serving others in love and truth.

CHANGE
MDX promotes positive choices and personal growth, centred around our faith in Jesus Christ, through encouragement, accountability and insight. We facilite Life Groups for people of all ages and hope that everyone connected with MDX feels encouraged to get involved in one.

NITEchurch is also a great place for God to change our lives. NITEchurch happens every Sunday at 7pm and is thought to be a modern service for the young at heart. We have a fantastic mix of ages, cultures and backgrounds.

As well as these weekly types of things MDX also offers various programmes and courses for things like Pre-marriage, New Christians, Discipleship, Marriage, Parentinig and Dance.
